Pop-out windows

Every chart pane in the dashboard can be popped out into its own browser window. The pop-out streams the same data the parent dashboard streams, so what you see there matches what the dashboard sees. Useful when you want a single chart on a second monitor without giving up screen space on the main dashboard.

Opening a pop-out

Hover any chart pane on the dashboard and a small pop-out icon appears in the top-right corner of the pane. Click it and a new browser window opens with that chart filling the entire window. The chart in the main dashboard stays where it is.

What runs in the pop-out

The pop-out window connects to the same real-time data feed as the parent dashboard. It runs the same chart code, draws the same candles, and updates at the same time. There is no separate setup; closing the window stops that pop-out without affecting the dashboard.

Multiple pop-outs

You can pop out as many chart panes as you want; each opens in its own window. Browsers may prompt for permission the first time. Some browsers limit how many pop-up windows a single tab can open without a click, so if a pop-out doesn't appear, check the address bar for a pop-up blocker icon.

Closing a pop-out

Close the pop-out window like any browser window. The chart pane in the dashboard remains as it was. While a pane is popped, the Layout popover shows a "pop in" button next to that pane in the checklist; click it to bring the chart back into the dashboard without closing the pop-out window manually.
