What it does
HOD alerts fire on every new session high, confirmed against the day's tape rather than intraday wicks. Each alert plays a distinctive audio cue and flashes the row in gold so you catch the moment during a fast tape, even if you stepped away.
How it works
Every ticker the scanner watches has a session high tracked in real time. When the last price exceeds it by a meaningful margin and order flow confirms, the alert fires and the row prepends to the HOD panel with a flash. Repeat HODs on the same ticker stack as alert counts (×2, ×3) instead of spamming the panel.
What makes it different
Tape-velocity gating filters out single-wick fakeouts. A cents-floor cutoff keeps sub-penny noise off the panel. Cooldown logic prevents the same ticker from re-firing within seconds when it chops at the high. You see the breakout, not the false starts.
